How are the kids doing?” This half-century old neighborhood bar is filled with history and has become an Atlanta tradition. It has a vast pool of regulars, and people from all walks of life come together here to shoot the bull and relax while downing one of Manuel’s well-priced 15+ taps; they even have their own exclusive brew, a gold lager they call 602.

The tavern is full of well-worn character, with erratically arranged rooms covered in antique paneling and hung with vintage sports memorabilia. The atmosphere at Manuel’s Tavern is friendly and comfortable, and offers a place where anybody can come and be accepted, where social lines are forgotten, and where blue collars and white collars can be seen heatedly discussing current events together, cheering for the game on TV, or playing pinball. On Sunday nights you’re sure to see everyone joining in for a rousing game of trivia!

Large booths with wooden tables line the interior, offering a relaxed, spacious setting in which to order a few pitchers and enjoy Manuel’s hearty steak sandwich, juicy filet mignon or scrumptious chicken wings. There’s also a special brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 3pm, and on the first Saturday of every month Manuel’s entertains guests with their Laughing Matters improvisational comedy troupe.
