It attracts a posh crowd of professionals in their mid-20s to 50s who come for an after-work drink, a power lunch, or to unwind after an exhausting day of shopping in Phipps Plaza, the most upscale of Atlanta’s malls.

Another draw to Tavern is that they are staffed by World Champion Finalist Bartenders, who are known for the little bar shows they frequently perform to entertain their guests. Be sure to ask to see the “Lifesaver shot." The shows definitely break the ice between the guests and bring everybody at the bar together. Another must-try is one of the Tavern’s martini specialties.

On weekend nights, guests can also enjoy the entertainment pleasure of live jazz and piano music. Fridays are the Tavern’s busiest nights, and during the bar shows it can get quite rowdy, so you may want to secure a table at the back of the bar if the crowd gets too rambunctious for your liking.
