Two blocks past I-285, turn left into the Parkside Shops Plaza. As you see the South Beach Bistro and Bar sign, know that the experience is about to begin. You are pleasantly greeted by the valet, always complimentary for unescorted ladies. Pass the white-washed covered indoor patio and enter South Beach Bistro and Bar. You are now leaving Atlanta. You are immediately welcomed by illuminated jewels of the Pacific, swimming about, amidst colorful fauna, which create a backdrop for what is still to come. As you continue, jazz and high energy music beckon you in, while the subtle smells and visual displays by our culinary talents tease and tantalize. Blue/green iridescent bars illuminated by a mix of south Florida orange and teal lighting set the mood for a fabulous evening. As you venture further into the experience, note plush elevated VIP seating and fine dining areas; state-of-the-art plasma TV’s strategically placed for viewing the latest music videos or sporting events. Venture onto the patio for a taste of Bohemia, air-conditioned and covered for your convenience, with a full view of the dance floor and stage. Sip frozen drinks…and enjoy. Or, for a high-energy evening, spend some time on the orange crush dance floor and lighted dance stage. Relax, chill, savor the food and enjoy the entertainment. The restaurant opens for dinner at 4pm Monday – Friday, 6pm Saturday and 11:30am Sunday for the South Beach Jazz Brunch. But entertainment is the name of the game. Be prepared for a nightly mix of jazz, hip-hop and urban contemporary music blended in, to set the backdrop for live entertainment performed by The Taboo Band ( yes…THAT Taboo Band). The band takes the stage promptly at 8pm (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) to entertain and rock the house.
