Joseph's accumulation of experiences, from New York City to Los Angeles and having spent many years at Van Michael Salon in Atlanta has evolved his talents into one of Atlanta's top stylists. Joseph desires to give clients a relaxing laid back atmosphere where they could feel at home and not feel intimidated by their stylist or their surroundings. This commitment to his clients is the catalyst to the birth of Paragon Salon and Spa. Joseph's passion to his craft, along with his amazing dedication to the feel and ambience of the space, has led Paragon to the ultimate level of client service. His vision for looking into the future will continue to profile him as a leader in the hair industry. Brenda Waters Brenda has been a member of Paragon Salon and Spa's foundation since its inception. She discovered her passion for hair at an early age and developed her strengths in hair care, styling, and chemical relaxing. Brenda's evolving quest for innovative education inspired her to pursue Atlanta's salon industry. She acquired advanced training through the influences of many exceptional in-salon stylists, educators, and specialists. Brenda's passion for education and pride in her work have established her as a national talent in the arena of thermal reconditioning, hair extensions, custom wig-making and specialty styling. Brenda's diverse hair extension techniques include sew-ins, infusions, and custom clip-in pieces, which have acquired her award-winning recognition. Brenda's leadership in the industry as a premier thermal reconditioning specialist has created an extreme demand for her highly-developed specialized services in Atlanta. Her participation in workshops and formal training include Rusk in Atlanta, Uscio, New York city and Cinderella Hair just to name a few. Brenda's work has been featured in Jezebel Magazine, Sophisticate's Black Hair, Hype Hair, and National Public Radio (NPR). Driven by the belief that if one looks good, they feel good, Brenda introduces her clients to the newest trendsetting techniques that ultimately leave her clients looking and feeling their best. Jason Tichenor Jason, color specialist, has been with Paragon Salon and Spa since our first year. He began his career at a young age by working in his family-owned salon. This early influence initiated a journey of experiences amongst a long line of professionals in the industry. Jason brings a mature approach to fresh and original ideas in color technique. His recent participation in workshops at the Wella Institute in New York City - as well as his many roles directing and coordinating a myriad of fashion and stage styling - have established Jason's exceptional reputation in Atlanta. Tichenor's passion for color transcends the standard, whether covering grey, ultra blonding or creating funky pastel designs. He continues to grow, teach and learn through his everyday expression, and is a true leader in the salon industry. Sierra Grief Sierra launched her career as a hair stylist by freelancing in the fashion industry. She worked mostly with photographers and designers in the studio, as well as backstage at the runway shows. After deciding to work in the salon environment, Sierra studied formally with Horst Rechellbacher in Minneapolis at the Aveda Institute, and followed with Frederic Fekkai in New York City. She worked with Fekkai in the salon at Bergdorf Goodman for 2 years, then branched out with two partners to open Capelli Punto Salon. As the Director of Education, Sierra's talents expanded to cutting and coloring, which promoted her as a platform artist for Aveda and Logics. Atlanta is now Sierra's new home, which offered her an opportunity to work and study with another European stylist, Bernard Dugaud. This reconfirmed her early influences by focusing on the whole client appearance. By analyzing hair styles, lengths, shapes and balances with complimentary coloring, Sierra developed a loyal following. She evolved her business into a private setting of her own identity, which gave her clients a more personal experience. Now at Paragon, she continues to enhance her clients full head to toe image by suggesting her recommendations of cut and color to complete their balance. Sierra's dedication to her passion keeps her traveling the planet to observe and apply her influences into modern day terms. Ginger Fortune Ginger, makeup artist, was exposed to the world of fashion and beauty began at an early age. Growing up in New York City, she was always very conscious of trends and changing style and the overwhelming effect it had on people. At 19 she began a modeling career and the world of beauty was opened up to her. From her very first professional make-over as a model, she knew that making people look their very best is what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Now as a makeup artist in the industry for more than 14 years, Ginger is at the very top of her craft. Working on ad campaigns, fashion shows, national news broadcasts and countless magazine photo shoots has made Ginger one of the most sought after artist in the industry today. With the launch of her custom makeup and skin care line, Ginger Cosmetics, she continues to share her vision of beauty worldwide.
